<br />1/13/71 Chapter of the proposed Eugene Code, making corrections and deletions. file

<br />R. 'Discussloh~of Local Government - Councilwoman Beal has requested a meeting with
<br />1/20/71 Mr. Ed Harms, Springfield City Attorney to discuss problems of local government.
<br />City Manager and City Attorney will arrange a meeting and inform the Council when a

<br />S. Abandoned Bicycle Sale - Councilman Mohr has received a staff report concerning the
<br />1/20/71 contract with the City ~garding abandoned vehicles and the conditions of the
<br />contract. He questioned whether bicycles could be sold in one lot, or had to be
<br />sold at public auction. City Attorney explained that the City could buy them, but
<br />they had to be offered to the public item by item.

<br />Mr. McDonald was concerned with the cost to the City of such a project.

<br />Mayor Anderson suggested this item'be placed on a future agenda for discussion. file

<br />T. Report, Bicycle Study - Ernie Drapela of the Parks Department reported on the progress
<br />1/20/71 of the bicycle committee and that several lay members have been contacted to serve as ad-
<br />visors to the committee. They will meet in the very near future, and will report to the,,' ,~ ,-
