For action on this resolution see Page 3 of June 15, 1971 Council minutes. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1935 - Forwarding to President and Representatives advisory measure of Eugene <br /> ballot requesting withdrawal of United States military forces and material from Southeast Asia <br /> by December 31, 1971 was submitted and read in full. <br /> There was some discussion concerning this resolution on Page 5 of these minutes. <br /> i; Mrs. Beal was quite concerned about this resolution and felt it was extremely important it get to <br /> I the congressional delegation. <br /> Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> , ~':At this point Mr. Mohr commented that he was quite concerned that the ACLU had not been permitted <br /> '.: <br /> to enter into discussion regarding Section C-5, due to the disturbances during the. hearing. He <br /> suggested that perhpas that section could be held out.
