Council Chamber <br /> Eugene, Oregon <br /> June 17, 1971 <br /> Adjo~rnedmeeting of the City Council, adjourned from the regular meeting of June 15, 1971, was <br /> called to order by His Honor Mayor Lester E. Anderson at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 1971 <br /> in the Council Chamber with the following councilmen present: Messrs. Teague, Mohr, McDonald, <br /> Williams and Hershner; Mrs. Beal. Mr. Gribskov and Mrs. Campbell were absent. <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO. 9437 - Calling special election to submit to voters measure authorizing <br /> City Council to levy an amount in excess of the 6% limitat~on, and declaring an emergency, was submitted <br /> Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br /> only and that enactment be considered at this time. Motion carried unanimously arid the bill was <br /> read the second time by council bill number only. <br />e Mr. Teague moved seconded 9Y Mr. Mohr that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall <br /> vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 16233. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1941 - Authorizing City Council to levy tax in excess of 6% limitation was <br /> submi tted. <br />-I Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the resolution be adopted. Rollcall vote.
