All councilmen <br />present voting aye, the resolution was adopted. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2025 - Authorizing microfilming of public records, was submitted. <br /> <br />At- the request of Councilman Mohr, the resolution was read. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Hershner asked if the authorization to microfilm' certain records will require new equip- <br />ment. Manager said the City already has equipment and that the authorization covers those <br />records which are legally required to be retained. <br /> <br />Mr. Mohr moved seconded by Mrs. Bealto adopt the resolution. All councilmen <br />present voting aye, the resolution was adopted. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2026 - Transmitting to Planning Commission for public hearing on April 11, <br />1972 consideration of "interim density limitation" in hillside areas for one year, was sub- <br />mitted. <br /> <br />In answer to Councilman Teague, Manager said this resolution permits a public hearing before <br />the Planning Commission for consideration of establishment of density levels for properties' <br />on hillsides of 15% or more slope. The Planning Commission expressed concern with regard to <br />densities in hillside areas and at the extremities of City services, and felt that prior to <br />granting planned unit developments which would result in dense residential development in <br />those types of areas, more study should be given and a general recommendation made. The <br />public hearing will allow determination as to whether a moratorium should be recommended until <br />more study can be given. <br /> <br />In Answer to Mrs. Campbell, Planning Director said the Planning Commission feels a hearing <br />is needed with regard to densities in order to get the feelings of citizens in that particu- <br />lar area of the City. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Mohr moved seconded by Mrs. Beal to adopt the resolution.
