<br />erty at the northeast corner of 4th and Pearl from M-2 to RP for construction Corom

<br />Manager explained that the property will be used for Social Security Administration
<br />office which is being displaced from its present location by proposed Federal office
<br />building on the entire block north of City Hall.

<br />Mr. Furtick, 1705 Fairmount Boulevard, said the proposed use will,be completely
<br />compatible with the way the area is. developing.~ and asked favorable action on the
<br />request.

<br />Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Williams that the bill be read the' second time by
<br />council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council, and that enact-
<br />ment be considered at this time. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read
<br />the second time by council bill number only.

<br />Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Williams that the bill be approved and given final
<br />passage. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared
<br />passed and numbered 16714.
