Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilman Williams raised the question whether Coun~il approval of labor contracts is <br />necessary. There was some discussion with regard to delegation of ~anager as Council's <br />agent or continuing the practice' of bringing negotiated settlements to the Council for" <br />authorizatioR to sign. <br /> <br />Mr. Williams moved seconded by Mrs. Campbell that Council continue to approve <br />contracts. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />IX - Joint Committee, LCOG/Plannin~/School Districts - To discuss future plans of the <br />jurisdictions. James Pearson has been appointed as the Planning Commission's repre- <br />sentati ve.
