<br />The regular meeting of the Common Council of the city of Eugene, Oregon
<br />was called to order by His Honor Mayor Lester E. Anderson at 7:30 p.m.
<br />on April 9, 1973 in the Council Chamber with the following councilmen
<br />present: Mrs. Beal, Mr. Williams,Mr~ Hershner, Mrs. Campbell, Messrs.

<br />fLetter was received from Paul Hansen asking withdrawal of his petition to rezone
<br />Ithe area east of Jacobs Street south of Concord (Item B5).

<br />Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Williams to approve withdrawal of the Hansen
<br />request. MOtion carried unanimously.

<br />Mr. Williams moved seconded by Mrs. Beal to schedule public hearing on the balance
<br />of the PlanningComnUssion recommendations for April 9 Council meeting. Motion I Comm

<br />Recommended by Planning Commission on March 6, 1973.

<br />Council Bill No. '213 '- Zoning newly-annexed area west of Goodpasture
<br />Island Road east of Willamette River to AG was'submitted and read the
<br />first time by council bill and title only, ther~ being ~o councilman present
<br />requesting that it be read in full.

<br />Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr.-Williams that the bill be read the second
<br />time by G0uncil bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council
<br />and that enactment be considered at this time. Motion carried unanimously
<br />and the bill was read the seconq. time by council bill number only.
<br />
<br />Mrs. Bealmoved seconded by Mr.' Williams that the bill be approved and
<br />given final passage. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting
<br />aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 16745.
