The State law also provides that 60% of the Commission's percentage of <br />gate receipts from those exhibitions must be distributed to veterans organizations and 40% to <br />charitable uses. The payments listed are the disbursement of the statutory share for veterans <br />groups. He added that prior to receipt of revenue sharing funds the other 40% went into a fund <br />to help indigents and more recently was allocated to Buckley House, a privately operated home <br />for alcoholics. <br /> <br />Rollcall vote was taken on the motion to adopt the resolution. Motion carried, all councilmen <br />present voting aye. <br /> <br />Fordon Elliott, 1287 Irvington Drive, asked to speak with regard to installation of <br />traffic diverters recommended by the Westside Neighborhood Quality Project (Item III-F). He <br />said he had taken a survey and had additional information for Council consideration.
