Anderson at 1:30 p.m. on December 19, 1974 in the Mayor's office <br /> at City Hall for the purpose of appointing Planning Comnlission members as provided under <br /> State legislation adopted by the 1973 session. Council members present were: Mrs. Beal, <br /> Messrs. Williams and Hershner, Mrs. Campbell, and Messrs. Keller, Murray, and Wood. <br /> Councilman McDonald was absent. <br /> Mayor Anderson expressed satisfaction with the procedure adopted by the Council and the <br /> manner in which applicants for Planning Commission membership were interviewed. He said <br /> the manner in which selection was conducted proved that the process works, and he approved <br /> the choices made. <br /> Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Williams to reappoint James Pearson, 3235 Fillmore <br /> Street, to the Planning Commission for the term ending January 1, 1978. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Williams to appoint Mrs. John Franklin (Susan), <br /> 890 West 3rd Avenue, as a Planning Commission member for the term ending <br /> January 1, 1978 (replacing Betty Niven). Motion carried unanimously. <br />:. Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr.Williams to appoint Dr. John MacKinnon, Jr., <br />- /~ 2086 Potter Street, as a Planning Commission member, the appointment to be <br /> effective at the time a future vacancy on the Commission occurs.
