<br />e <br /> <br />Responding to a question from Mr. Holmer, Ms. Brody said councilors had an <br />opportunity to declare ex parte contacts and conflicts of interest at the <br />public hearing. City Attorney Tim Sercombe said councilors should declare <br />subsequent ex parte contacts concerning the diagram amendments when the <br />council considers the ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen said the request seems reasonable and he would like to speed it <br />up. He would vote against the motion. <br /> <br />Ms. Schue discussed the negotiations with the other jurisdictions that will <br />take place if the motion is approved. <br /> <br />Mr. Rutan said he shared Mr. Hansen's concern, but he is willing to let the <br />other jurisdictions lead the negotiations. Answering a question from Mr. <br />Rutan, Ms. Brody said approval of the motion will not delay consideration of <br />the ordinance. <br /> <br />Roll call vote; the motion carried 7:1.
