<br />e <br /> <br />Responding to a question from Mr. Holmer, Ms. Brody said councilors had an <br />opportunity to declare ex parte contacts and conflicts of interest at the <br />public hearing. City Attorney Tim Sercombe said councilors should declare <br />subsequent ex parte contacts concerning the diagram amendments when the <br />council considers the ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen said the request seems reasonable and he would like to speed it <br />up. He would vote against the motion. <br /> <br />Ms. Schue discussed the negotiations with the other jurisdictions that will <br />take place if the motion is approved. <br /> <br />Mr. Rutan said he shared Mr. Hansen's concern, but he is willing to let the <br />other jurisdictions lead the negotiations. Answering a question from Mr. <br />Rutan, Ms. Brody said approval of the motion will not delay consideration of <br />the ordinance. <br /> <br />Roll call vote; the motion carried 7:1. Mr. Hansen voted nay. <br />Index No. B-16, County Shops <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to support the MPC and <br />the Planning Commissions' recommendation for amendment B-16. <br />Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 8:0. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Index No. B-17, Santa Clara UGB Expansion <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to support the recom- <br />mendation of the MPC and the three planning commissions concern- <br />ing amendment B-17. Roll call vote; the motion carried unani- <br />mously, 8:0. <br /> <br />Index No. B-18, River Loop Number 1 Exception <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to deny the proposed <br />amendment B-18 due to the applicant's desire to withdraw the <br />request. Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 8:0. <br /> <br />Index No. 8-19, Merryman Road (Kokkeler Estates) Exception <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to support the MPC and <br />Planning Commissions' recommendation for amendment B-19.
