<br />Ms. Ehrman recommended the council take no additional action because the vote <br />4It which failed to approve the amendment denied it. <br /> <br />Mr. Holmer said the council vote also failed to deny the amendment. He favor- <br />ed referring the matter to the MPC. <br /> <br />Ms. Schue did not think the Eugene City Council should abdicate its responsi- <br />bility to the MPC. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller was especially concerned about the possibility that approval of the <br />amendment would set a precedent. <br /> <br />Ms. Schue moved, seconded by Mr. Hansen, to table action on <br />amendment 8-20 to January 22, 1986. Roll call vote; the motion <br />carried unanimously, 8:0. <br /> <br />Index No. B-21, McVay Highway Industrial <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to support the MPC and <br />Planning Commissions' recommendation for amendment 8-21.
