Airport Task Force <br /> <br />Mayor Obie recommended the council appoint Mr. Hansen and Mr. Rutan to the <br />Airport Task Force composed of representatives from Eugene, Springfield, and <br />Lane County. He recommended Ms. Ehrman be appointed an alternate member of <br />the task force. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved, seconded by Ms. Ehrman, to appoint Mr. Hansen, <br />Mr. Rutan, and Ms. Ehrman (alternate) to the Airport Task <br />Force. Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 8:0. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen said he has not personally made a definite decision about the <br />airport expansion project. He will represent the council's view on the task <br />force. <br /> <br />Ms. Wooten emphasized that the council will discuss the airport expansion <br />again at a worksession. <br /> <br />I. Future Council Workshops <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Mr. Gleason recommended the councilors meet on Monday, February 3, from <br />5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to discuss the FY87 Budget Plan and Monday, <br />February 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. to discuss the airport expansion <br />project. <br /> <br />Mr. Holmer said he will be out of town on February 3 and Ms. Wooten said she <br />will be out of town on February 10. Prior to those meetings, Mr. Gleason will <br />get their opinions for presentation to the other councilors at the workshops. <br /> <br />II. METROPOLITAN PLAN MID-PERIOD REVIEW CONCERNING DIAGRAM AMENDMENT B-20 <br />(memo distributed) <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />City Manager Micheal Gleason introduced the agenda item. Teresa Bishow gave <br />the staff report. She said the council tabled action on Amendment B-20 of the <br />Metro Plan Mid-Period Review on January 8, 1986. The amendment proposed the <br />addition to the urban growth boundary of 40 acres on Barger Avenue. She <br />described the property.
