Provide (as much property) approximately 200 acres <br />between Awbrey and Meadowview Lanes as is necessary to: <br />a) ensure efficient access to both the Southern Pacific <br />and Burlington Northern railroads; and b) to provide <br />(for large) a minimum parcel (sizes) size. <br /> <br />On the question of parcel size, Ms. Brody said large parcels are difficult to <br />market and small parcels will be difficult to justify to the Land Conservation <br />and Development Commission. <br /> <br />Replying to questions from Ms. Bascom, Mr. Rutan said the sludge treatment <br />site is adjacent to the Awbrey/Meadowview site. <br /> <br />The amendment carried 6:2 with Councilors Holmer, Schue, <br />Bascom, Miller, Rutan, and Bennett voting aye and Councilors <br />Ehrman and Wooten voting nay. <br /> <br />Replying to a question from Ms. Bascom, Ms. Brody said the amendment could be <br />processed by the council and then referred to Springfield officials.
