Roll call vote; the motion failed 3:5 with Councilors Wooten, Rutan, and Bennett voting aye and Councilors Ehrman, Holmer, e Schue, Bascom, and Miller voting nay. CS 2967--An ordinance adopting the budget, making appropriations determining and levying the annual ad valorem property tax for the City of Eugene for the fiscal year begi nn i ng July 1, 1987, and endi ng June 30, 1988; and declaring an emergency. Ms. Ehrman moved, seconded by Mr. Holmer, that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the council, and that enactment be considered at this time. Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 8:0. Council Bill 2967 was read the second time by council bill number only. Ms. Ehrman moved, seconded by Mr. Holmer, that the bill be approved and given final passage. Roll call vote; all councilors present voting aye, the bill was declared passed (and became Ordinance No. 19484). Mayor Obie said the councilors' comments indicate support for the Metropolitan Partnership. Ms. Wooten suggested Partnership officials submit a request to the Budget Committee in September for restoration of $15,000 to the City's contribution e to Partnership funds. She said she would like a status report of the audit and evaluation of the Partnership at that t~me. Mayor Obie recessed the City Council meeting at 9:10 p.m. and convened a meeting of the Eugene Renewal Agency at 9:15 p.m. III. PUBLIC HEARING: EUGENE RENEWAL AGENCY FY88 ANNUAL BUDGET City Manager Micheal Gleason introduced consideration of the Eugene Renewal Agency's FY88 budget. Mayor Obie opened the public hearing. There being no requests to testify, Mayor Obie closed the public hearing. Res.
