2005 Legislative Session IGR Commitee Bill Approval May 23, 2005 <br /> <br /> Directs Department of Revenue to establish general tax amnesty program of limited duration. <br /> Waives penalties for taxpayers who pay outstanding taxes. Increases penalties on taxpayers <br /> who fail to fully participate. Sunsets January 2, 2012. Takes effect on 91st day following <br /> SB 0480 3 Support adjournment sine die. 3~09 <br /> Requires majority of votes cast in territory proposed to be annexed and majority of votes cast <br /> in city or district to approve annexation plan under which city or district may annex territory <br /> within urban growth boundary. Eliminates option for city to annex territory without vote in <br /> territory and without written consent to annexation by 50 percent or more of voters residing in <br /> SB 0491 3 Oppose territory. 3/09 <br /> Allows person lawfully using bicycle lane to proceed through red light at top of T intersection <br /> after stopping at light. Creates offense of improper stop at light at T intersection. Specifies duties and responsibilities. Requires <br /> natural resource agencies to perform certain actions relating to environmental justice. Defines <br /> SB 0542 3 Support natural resource agency. 3/31 <br /> SB 0544 3 Support Prohibits smoking in places of employment. Specifies certain exceptions. 3/09 <br /> Prohibits law enforcement units from requiring peace officers to issue minimum number of <br /> SB 0546 3 Support/Am traffic citations. 3/17 <br /> SB 0548 3 Neutral Modifies crime of interfering with peace officer. 3/17 <br /> Prohibits legislative official from accepting consideration other than salary paid by State of <br /> Oregon for acting as lobbyist. Deletes provision allowing removal of contested case <br /> proceedings involving alleged violations of lobby or government standards and practices laws <br /> to Marion County Circuit Court. Increases maximum civil penalty that may be imposed for <br /> violations of lobby or government standards and practices laws to $10,000. Deletes provision <br /> requiring award of attorney fees to persons who prevail in contested case proceeding or appeal <br /> SB 0550 3 Support/Am involving alleged violation of lobby or government standards and practices laws. 3/17 <br /> Changes veterinarian duty to supply evidence of inoculation when vaccinating animal against <br /> SB 0556 3 Support rabies.
