<br />e <br /> <br />Mr. Holmer moved, seconded by Ms. Bascom, to approve the <br />1988 City Council board/comission assignments as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller expressed his appreciation for the confidence expressed in <br />appointing him to a committee he had not expected to be on. <br /> <br />Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 8:0. <br /> <br />X. CALL FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR MARCH 14, 1988, CONCERNING A STREET <br />VACATION REQUEST (SACRED HEART HOSPITAL) (SV 88-1) <br /> <br />City Manager Mike Gleason introduced the item. <br /> <br />CB 3022--An ordinance calling a public hearing for March <br />14, 1988, to consider vacation of 12th Avenue <br />between Hilyard and Patterson Streets. <br /> <br />Mr. Holmer moved, seconded by Ms. Bascom, that the bill be <br />read the second time by council bill number only, with <br />unanimous consent of the council, and that enactment be <br />considered at this time. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Ms. Ehrman said she had attended a neighborhood meeting where a <br />representative of Sacred Heart had stated that the vacation was <br />uncertain, and she asked whether fees had been paid and what would happen <br />if the council acted and the hospital was not ready to proceed. Mr. <br />Gleason said the amount for the vacation had not been paid, but he <br />believed the application fee had been paid. <br /> <br />Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 8:0. <br /> <br />Council Bill 3022 was read the second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Holmer moved, seconded by Ms. Bascom, that the bill be <br />approved and given final passage. Roll call vote; all <br />councilors present voting aye, the bill was declared <br />passed (and became Ordinance No. 19535). <br /> <br />XI. CITY COUNCIL MINUTES: MEETING OF JANUARY 6, 1988; DINNER/WORK <br />SESSION, WORK SESSION, AND MEETING OF JANUARY 11, 1988; LUNCH/WORK <br />SESSION OF JANUARY 13, 1988 <br /> <br />Mr. Holmer moved, seconded by Ms. Bascom, to approve the <br />City Council meeting minutes of January 6, 1988; January <br />11, 1988; and January 13, 1988.
