<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Ms. Bishow said Mr. Saul had presented testimony regarding smaller-scale <br />sites along rail lines, and other analyses also indicated limitations on <br />the amount of land available. <br /> <br />Mr. Rutan said he did not think much more information would contribute to <br />a policy judgment, and he suggested exercising care about staff time and <br />moving ahead. Ms. Brody said a work session was scheduled for March 9, <br />and the council could take action at that meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller asked whether a rail port along the West Eugene Parkway was <br />being considered for industrial developments in the area. He asked about <br />that process. Ms. Brody said that was not under investigation now. She <br />added that difficulties existed in providing rail access because of the <br />elevation of the rail line.
