<br />e <br /> <br />Roll call vote; the motion carried, 5:3, with councilors <br />Holmer, Bascom, Miller, Bennett, and Rutan voting aye, and <br />councilors Wooten, Schue, and Ehrman voting nay. <br /> <br />Mr. Holmer moved, seconded by Ms. Bascom, to recommend to the <br />Lane County Board of Commissioners adoption of an exception to <br />Statewide Goal 3, Agricultural Land, to allow the development <br />of a rail spur from Southern Pacific to serve the proposed new <br />industrial park. <br /> <br />Ms. Ehrman said she supports the motion because it is the key issue to <br />the property's uniqueness. <br /> <br />Roll call vote; the motion carried, 7:1, with councilors <br />Holmer, Bascom, Miller, Rutan, Bennett, Ehrman, and Schue <br />voting aye, and councilor Wooten voting nay. <br /> <br />Mayor Obie recommended, and the council agreed, to postpone discussing <br />the Urban Renewal Plan Update until April 11. <br /> <br />Ms. Wooten said she has received a request to delay the decision on <br />Lincoln School until April 11 so that neighborhood associations will have <br />a chance to form recommendations.
