./
,_ Willie Johnson, 1350 East 25th Avenue, said he and the employees of Sundance
Natural Foods urge the council to adopt the MRV. He said it is distressing
that the leaders of local government are not responding to what citizens are
telling them.
Wayne Burke, 176 North Grand Street, said the council should adopt the MRV as
it currently exists.
The following was submitted as written testimony:
Craig Patterson, 2410 Monroe Street, said council members should resign if
they cannot execute the will of the people.
Mayor Obie closed the public hearing. He said he appreciates people taking
the time to attend the hearing. He said conflicts of history are often
between good people trying to do good things. Although there are differences
of opinion, he said there is not a lack of sincerity on anybody's part. He
said the council will make its final decision on the issue at its June 27,
1988 meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:36 p.m. to June 15, 1988.
Respectfully submitted,
~~A'"
e Micheal D.
