Mr. Gleason said a neighborhood survey of needs conducted as
part of the Capital Improvement Program is presented to the CDC and is
considered when the committee ranks projects within the categories approved
by council.

Mr. Boles said while the reprogramming requests may not represent a cost
overrun for the projects, he was nevertheless surprised at the size of the
cost increase over the original estimates.

Ms. Bascom moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to reprogram $90,000
CDBG funds from Downtown Accessibility ($60,000) and CDBG
Interest Income ($30,000) to the Specialized Recreation Center
($75,000) and the Accessible Playground at Amazon Park
($15,000).
