WORK SESSION: Discussion Concerning Metro Plan Amendment for Public Safety Special District Council President: I move to direct the City Manager to prepare an ordinance approving the proposed Metro Plan text amendment pursuant to the Lane County proposed ordinance. Roll Call Vote Council President: I move to direct the City Manager to comprehensively explore with the City of Springfield and Lane County new methods of providing and financing government services. PUBLIC FORUM Mayor: The Public Forum is an opportunity/or individuals to speak to the City Council on an); city-related issues except~for those items which have ahead); been heard b); a Hearings Official or are on tonight's agenda as a public hearing. Each person will have three minutes to speak. Please give your name and address when you come to the podium. The timer and lights indicate the time you have to speak. A yellow light will come on when you have 1,5 seconds to complete your comments. The red light indicates the end of three minutes.
