~
e In response to a comment from Ms. Aspinwall-Lamberts, Ms. Henry suggested
that the commission schedule additional meetings to work on the street
design. Commissioners agreed with this suggestion. Mr. Schwartz recommended
that councilors be invited to participate in the work sessions. Ms.
Aspinwall-Lamberts said she would work with staff to develop agendas for the
next several months.
Mr. Brown said on Friday, October 20, staff will be evaluating potential Lane
Transit District sites based on criteria developed by the task force. This
is not a regular meeting, but he encouraged commissioners to attend if they
wished.
Due to the potenti~l difficulty of scheduling additional meetings because of
possible prior conflicts, Mr. Jensen suggested that the commission consider
lengthening its regularly scheduled meetings. He felt that rapid progress on
the design would illustrate to the council the commission's commitment to the
project.
The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
e
(Recorded by Kim Young)
MNCC 100989-530
.
