M <br />Interested Applicants <br />InterestedApplicants <br />9/26/2017 1:36:51 PM <br />Personal Interest Contribution <br />As an Oregonian and resident of Eugene I have a vested <br />interest to work to make our community a better place to <br />live. I have lived in the Eugene area most of my life, but I <br />have also had the opportunity to travel and experience <br />other areas and culture. These travel experiences have <br />given me the opportunity to experience other areas <br />similar to ours and different. I think Eugene has a very <br />unique opportunity with regard to the river front <br />redevelopment. I would like to see this area developed to <br />include a blend of public spaces, commercial store <br />fronts, and be an extension of downtown. I am <br />passionate about making our community a better place. I <br />think my perspective would be helpful in creating a <br />vibrant area. I am also very passionate about economic <br />development. I do think the development of this riverfront <br />area can be a draw for economic activity. <br />No Supplemental Answers <br />I hope to make a positive lasting impact by being on this <br />committee. I would like to work to create a space that make <br />our community proud and functions both as an economic <br />driver for our community, along with a space that <br />community members can enjoy the river front area.
