H
Interested Applicants
I nterestedApplicants
9/26/2017 1:36:51 PM
have a strong background in sustainable consumption &
waste management along with diverse experience in
community involvement. I value the role business plays in
a healthy community. I would bring a combination of
pragmatism, management experience and idealism to the
commission; we should aspire for the best, but not let the
perfect be the enemy of the good.
have a working knowledge of the site. Like many people
weighed in on the original Riverfront Master Plan. I have
toured the site several times and have advised both
interested developers and EWEB staff on materials reuse
and salvage opportunities.
As a member of the Chamber's Govt Affairs Council I heard
many presentations and updates on the milestones and
process that EWEB and the City have worked through.
attended the presentations given by the first three
interested developers.
The riverfront property is a challenging, exciting
opportunity. The development will shape our community
for decades.
have a good balance of idealism & realism when it comes
to development. I know how important it is to rally people
CD
with a broad spectrum of interests behind a vision or a
'
project in order for it to be successful. I know there will be
unforeseen obstacles and frustrations throughout the
a >
process and believe playing the long game and keeping a
CD
a a
sense of humor are important.
'a n
'C x
have followed this project since its earliest days and
11' 3
would welcome the opportunity to be involved in the next
W z
stage.
v, d
