W. Hamel and BrjftV Obie. <br /> <br />Adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, was called <br />to order by His Honor Mayor Gus Keller. <br /> <br />I. ITEMS FROM MAYOR & COUNCIL, APPOINTMENTS, ANNOUNCEMENTS, AGENDA ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br />A. Metropolitan Plan Update <br /> <br />Mayor Keller noted that Lane County, Springfield, and Eugene had adopted the <br />Metro Plan Update on January 12, 1982. The hearing went well, but it was <br />lengthy. He thanked Gretchen Miller and others who filled in for him on the <br />Elected Officials Coordinating Committee meetings. He noted appreciation for <br />the work done by Springfield staff and the compromises from the Lane County <br />Commissioners. The Metro Plan will serve this city very well until the next <br />update. Ms. Miller also expressed appreciation for the various staff people who <br />have assisted in thi~ update and those who were in attendance last night. It <br />was a productive meeting. She particularly thanked Steve Gordon, Jim Farah, and <br />the Mayor for their efforts. <br /> <br />B. Traffic Signal Synchronization <br /> <br />Ms. Wooten stated that she has had requests from constituents regarding the <br />traffic signal synchronization. She requested that a report be brought back. <br />Mr. Gleason indicated that this would occur. <br /> <br />II. ROUTINE ITEMS FOR COUNCIL APPROVAL <br /> <br />A. Approval of City Council Minutes of November 18, 1981, and November 25, <br />1981 (distributed) <br /> <br />Ms. Schue moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, to approve the City <br />Council minutes of November 18, 1981, and November 25, 1981. <br />Roll call vote; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MINUTES--Eugene City Council <br /> <br />January 13, 1982 <br /> <br />Page 1 <br />
