Levying of Assessments: Referral to Assessments Hearing Panel <br /> <br />CB 2426--An ordinance levying assessments for paving, sanitary <br />sewer, storm sewer, and sidewalk on Bertelsen Road from <br />11th Avenue to 20th Avenue (County Road #426); and paving <br />and sidewalk on 18th Avenue from Bertelsen Road to Four <br />Oaks Grange Road (79-61). <br /> <br />Mr. Obie moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, that the bill be read <br />the first time and referred to the Assessment Hearing Panel for <br />hearing February 15, 1982, with panel recommendations to be <br />brought back for council consideration February 22, 1982. Roll <br />call vote; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />CB 2427--An ordinance levying assessments for sanitary sewer to <br />serve Willakenzie Island annexation area #7, (A-Z 78-11), <br />located generally along Hickory Avenue, Sisters View, <br />Mahlon Avenue, Westward Ho Avenue, Oxbow Way, Garden Way, <br />Conestoga Way, Honeysuckle, Van Duyn Street, and Arcadia <br />Street (80-65). <br /> <br />Mr. Obie moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, that the bill be read <br />the first time and referred to the Assessment Hearing Panel for <br />hearing February 15, 1982, with panel recommendations to be brouqht <br />back for council consideration February 22, 1982. Roll call vote; <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CB 2391--An ordinance levying assessments for paving and construct- <br />ing sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and sidewalk on Hawkins <br />Lane from Glen Mar to south city limits (80-11). <br /> <br />Mr. Obie moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, that CB 2391, read the <br />first time November 9, 1981, be referred to the Assessments <br />Hearing Panel for hearing February 15, 1982, with panel recommenda- <br />tions to be brought back for council consideration February 22, <br />1982. Mr. Gleason responded <br />that there was a legal requirement that the ordinance be read at two separate <br />meetings of the council.
