Hamel, Mark Lindberg, Gretchen Miller, Brian Obie, <br />Emily Schue, Betty Smith, Cynthia Wooten. <br /> <br />COUNCILOR ABSENT: Eric Haws. <br /> <br />Adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, was called <br />to order by His Honor Mayor Gus Keller. <br /> <br />I. ITEMS FROM MAYOR & COUNCIL, APPOINTMENTS, ANNOUNCEMENTS, AGENDA ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br />A. Presentation of American Legion Award <br /> <br />Frank Saniti, State Commander for the Oregon Department of the American Legion, <br />presented a plaque to Mayor Keller and the council in recognition of the City's <br />support for the Community Veterans Employment, Training, and Services (C-VETS) <br />program. Mayor Keller thanked Mr. Saniti for the plaque and the recognition of <br />the Legion. <br /> <br />B. Announcement of I-I Special Light Industrial District Subcommittee <br />Meeting <br /> <br />City Manager Micheal Gleason announced that the the subcommittee studying the <br />I-I Special Light Industrial Zone would meet in the Mayor1s Conference Room at 4 <br />p.m. on May 19, 1982. <br /> <br />II. ROUTINE ITEMS FOR COUNCIL APPROVAL <br /> <br />A. City Council Minutes of March 17, 1982, and May 10, 1982 (minutes <br />distributed) <br /> <br />Mr. Obie moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to approve the City <br />Council minutes of March 17, 1982, and May 10, 1982. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />B. Payment of Bills, Claims, and Progress Payments (distributed) <br /> <br />Res.
