prevent homelessness, and integrating affordable housing projects with supportive <br />services. The services available are listed as follows: <br /> <br />Singles Outreach, Access, and Stabilization <br />· SVdP Lindholm Center serves more than 100 homeless adults daily. <br />· Safe Haven Mental Health Group Room and Outreach serves 20 homeless single <br /> adults daily who have chronic mental illness. <br />· Assisted Permanent Housing Safe Haven provides 12 beds for chronically homeless <br /> adults with severe mental illness in addition to on-site supportive services. <br />· The Looking Glass Station 7 homeless youth access center serves 1,300 homeless <br /> and runaway youth annually. <br /> <br />Family Outreach, Access, and Stabilization <br />SVdP First Place Family Center serves 370 families in addition to providing access to <br />the Centralized Housing Resource and Shelter Waiting List that combines information <br />from five local emergency family shelter programs. <br /> <br />Supportive Services for Crisis Prevention <br />Direct assistance includes approximately 5,000 slots for Iow-income energy assistance <br />and 100 slots for rental assistance to very Iow-income households in danger of losing <br />their rental housing due to financial hardships. Additionally, the HOME Tenant-based <br />Rental Assistance Program provides 38 Iow-income households with rental assistance, <br />the Housing Stabilization Program serves approximately 20 households, and the Teen <br />Parent Program serves 58 families. Other supportive and crisis prevention services <br />throughout Lane County include housing placement, job training, legal assistance, <br />parent education, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, and child care <br />programs. All these services are intended to help Iow-income families stay housed and <br />develop healthy life styles. <br /> <br />Emergency Services <br />Emergency shelters currently include 346 beds for homeless singles and 232 beds for <br />homeless families (59 family capacity). <br /> <br />Facility/Agency Beds Type <br />Eugene Mission 304 250 men's beds; 54 women's beds <br />Buckley House 30 Detox beds <br /> <br />Looking Glass/Station 7 12 Youth <br /> Total 346 Homeless Singles <br /> <br /> <br />
