<br />- <br /> <br />Councilor Lindberg said the proposed reV1Slons were excellent additions to the <br />plan. He referred to page 51 of the Transportation Element of the plan and <br />asked that somewhere near item 1.8 a statement be inserted regarding mitigating <br />the effects of the proposed expansion of Chambers Street. He suggested the <br />following wording: "We recol1lTlend that some mitigating actions due to the <br />widening of Chambers [Street] between 8th and 18th [avenues] be taken. These <br />might include things such as buffers, beautification projects, or pedestrian <br />crossings. II <br /> <br />Res. No. 3739--A resolution adopting the Jefferson/Far West <br />Refinement Plan <br /> <br />Ms. Schue moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, to adopt the resolution, <br />incorporating the suggestion made by Councilor Lindberg.
