<br />1. 75th Anniversary of Portland Rose Festival
<br />
<br />Councilor Schue said that she had represented Mayor Keller at a promotional
<br />event for the Diamond Jubilee of the Portland Rose Festival. She said that
<br />Mayor Ivancie of Portland had extended a special invitation to the council and
<br />the citizens of Eugene to attend the festival in Portland June 3 through 12,
<br />1983.

<br />2. L-COG Orientation
<br />
<br />Mr. Gleason announced that the Lane Council of Governments (L-COG) orientation
<br />for elected officials and other interested citizens would be held at 7:30 p.m.
<br />on January 20, 1983, in Harris Hall. He urged interested councilors to attend
<br />the orientation.

<br />3. City Managerls Office Staff Changes

<br />Service Officer in the Manager's Office, replacing Rande Wilmarth, who has
