The motion carried 7:1, <br /> Councilor Holmer voting in opposition. <br /> In response to a question from Councilor Holmer, Mayor Keller asked Mr. Gleason <br /> to schedule a review of the model charter. Councilor Wooten said that she would <br /> like the issue to go to the Citizen Involvement Committee as well. Councilor <br /> Schue expressed her concern with reopening the entire issue and questioned <br /> whether Council discussion should be limited to the issue of "an" versus "the" <br /> official voice. <br /> II. ORDINANCES FOR SECOND READING <br /> A. Levying Assessments <br /> Mr. Gleason recommended that Council consideration of CB 2664 be postponed. <br /> CB 2664--An ordinance levying assessment for paving, sanitary <br /> sewer and storm sewer in Glenwood Boulevard from Glenwood <br /> Drive to 1100 feet south, and in Moon Mountain Drive from <br /> Glenwood Boulevard to Laurel Hill Drive; and sanitary <br /> sewer to serve Tax Lots 18-03-03-02-01100, 01200, 01300, <br /> 01302 (#83-16). <br /> e In response to a question from Councilor Wooten, Mr. Gleason stated that the <br /> postponement was not connected with the Glenwood Study. <br /> Councilor Schue moved, seconded by Councilor Obie, to postpone <br /> second reading of CB 2664 to the City Council of September 26, <br /> 1983. Roll call vote. The motion carried unanimously, 8:0. <br /> CB 2665--An ordinance concerning assessments for paving and storm <br /> sewer on McKendrick Street from Graham Drive to Karyl <br /> Avenue, amending ordinance No. 19070 (#82-08). <br /> Councilor Schue moved, seconded by Councilor Obie, that the bill <br /> be approved and given final passage. Roll call vote. All Coun- <br /> cilors voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered <br /> 19168. <br /> B. Street Vacation for Property Located at the Westerly Terminus of Holly <br /> Street, West of Norkenzie Road (Trygve Vik) (SV 80-5) <br /> CB 2248--An ordinance vacating a 28-foot-wide street which <br /> extends approximately 100 feet west of the west margin of <br /> Tabor Street. <br /> e <br /> MINUTES--Eugene City Council August 8, 1983 Page 2 <br />
