<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />M I NUT E S <br /> <br />Eugene City Council <br />Special Meeting <br /> <br />January 11, 1984 <br />11:15 a.m. <br />McNutt Room <br /> <br />COUNCILORS PRESENT: <br /> <br />Emily Schue, Richard Hansen, Betty Smith, Freeman <br />Holmer, John Ball, and Cynthia Wooten. <br /> <br />COUNCILOR ABSENT: <br /> <br />Brian Obie <br /> <br />Informal discussion began with Richard Guske, Carol Cogswell and Katherine <br />Murdoch at 11:25 a.m. as there was not a quorum present at that time. <br /> <br />Councilor Wooten arrived at 11:30. <br /> <br />Since a quorum was now present, the special meeting of the Eugene City Council <br />began and was called by Council President Emily Schue. <br /> <br />Interviews for the openings on the Eugene Citizen Involvement Committee were <br />conducted. Discussion continued and included questions regarding the role of <br />neighborhood groups, the community goals processes, the role of CIC, the <br />City's information program and the relationship with the media. <br /> <br />Councilor John Ball arrived at 11:40 a.m. <br /> <br />The special meeting was adjourned at approximately 11:50 a.m. to the Council <br /> <br /> <br />C~hambers~ <br />~. . - <br /> <br />(Re orded by Da e Whitlow) <br />
