Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Ms. Wooten moved, seconded by Ms. Ehrman, to reconsider Suggested <br /> Action 2.1 on page 2. Motion failed 4:4. <br /> Mr. Holmer moved, seconded by Mr Hansen, to delete from the introduc- <br /> tion the sixth paragraph ..."representing a cross-section of the <br /> community. II He cited sex, geographic and other deficiencies. Motion <br /> fail ed 2: 6 <br /> Mr. Obie concluded by saying that additional changes were possible at the City <br /> Council public hearing. <br /> Ms. Bascom, noting members had let her vote without being installed, mentioned <br /> the interviews for the Downtown Commission. She had found there was a person <br /> that would have been interviewed if one of her votes had been considered. It <br /> would make seven people to interview. The person was Leroy Latham. <br /> e Mr. Hansen moved, seconded by Mr. Holmer to include Leroy Latham <br /> Motion failed 2:6. <br /> Members discussed Ms. Bascom1s proposal to ask applicants, who were not asked <br /> to interview, to meet or submit their ideas. Some members thought it could be a <br /> very time consuming process.
