Any notice required by this section <br />shall include the expected time and date of use or application and the brand <br />name and common chemical name of the active ingredients of the pesticide <br />to be used. <br />(~) Delivery. Any notice required to be delivered by this sec- <br />tion may be delivered by personally delivering the notice to the person <br />entitled to notice; or by delivering the notice at the dwelling house or <br />usual place of abode of the person entitled to notice, to any person over <br />14 years of age residing therein; or, if the person entitled to notice main- <br />tains an office for the conduct of business, by leaving the notice at such <br />office during normal working hours with the person who is apparently in <br />charge; or by mailing the notice to the person entitled to the notice by <br />certified or registered mail, return receipt requested, at least five days <br />prior to use or application. <br /> <br />6.490 Pesticides - Post Application ~arnings. <br />(1) Outdoor. After use or application of any pesticide on trees <br />greater than six feet in height or upon premises open to the public, the <br />applicator or public applicator shall erect and maintain warning signs. The <br />warning signs shall be constructed of rain resistant material and shall be <br />rectangular in shape with dimensions of at least 8~ by 6". At least one <br />sign shall be erected for every 1000 square feet of premises upon any part <br />of which the pesticide is used or applied. If more than one sign is <br />erected, the signs shall be distributed evenly around the perimeter of the <br />area upon whiCh the pesticide is used or applied. If the pesticide is used <br />upon a single tree, a single sign immediately adjacent to the tree shall be <br />erected and maintained. Any warning sign required by this subsection shall <br />have a white field and the following information shall be printed in black <br />letters at least 3/4 inches in heig~t: <br /> <br />Ordin,J.nce - 5 <br />
