<br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING CITY BOARDS AND, <br />COMMISSIONS~ AMENDING SECTION 2.013 OF THE <br />EUGENE CODE, 1971 AND ORDINANCE NO. 18710~ <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The table of City Boards, Commissions and <br />Committees set forth in subsection (1) of Section 2.013 of the <br /> <br />Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended to provide that members <br /> <br />of the Citizen Involvement Committee, Community Schools Coordinating <br /> <br />Committee, Metropolitan Area Planning Advisory Committee (MAPAC), <br /> <br />and Metropolitan Cable/Television Commission shall be nominated <br /> <br />by the Mayor and appointed by the Council. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 18710 adopted by the Council <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />and approved by the Mayor on October 8, 1980 is amended to provide <br /> <br />that members of the Citizen Involvement Commi ttee shall be nominated <br /> <br />by the Mayor and appointed by the Council. <br /> <br />Section 3. The activities of the committees and commission <br /> <br />referred to herein concern the public welfare, and in order <br /> <br />to insure the continuation of those activi ties and appointments <br /> <br />thereto in an orderly manner, an emergency is hereby declared <br /> <br />to exist, and this Ordinance shall become effective immediately <br /> <br />upon its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />13th day of February, 1985 <br /> <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />13th day of February, 1985 <br /> <br />City Recorder <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />e <br />
