VII COUNCIL GOAL-SETTING SESSION

~ Ms. Ehrman suggested the council consider a process for developing resolutions
at its goal-setting session.

Mr. Rutan said a focus for the goal-setting session is very important. He
recommended that superfluous issues that can be discussed at another time not
be included. He recommended against discussing such things as marketing land
owned by the City due to Bancroft foreclosures and a resolution developing
process.

By consensus, the councilors decided to meet for their goal-setting sessions
at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, November 15, and 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 16. The
establishment of an ending time will be the first item on the agenda Friday
evening. The Saturday meeting will end at 5 p.m. Mr. Gleason said the
facilitator will be available to talk with councilors during the day on
Fri day.

Ms. Wooten adjourned the meeting at 12:50 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

~~
- f~ -,

M;cheal Gleason - - - ---
~ City Manager

(Recorded by Betty Lou Rarick)

BLR:pv/1908C

e

MINUTES--Eugene City Council November 13, 1985 Page 8
