This site is located <br /> adjacent to the existing West Terry Special Light Industrial site <br /> north of 11th Avenue and east of Green Hill Road. Expansion of the Urban Growth Boundary to include 40 acres <br /> immediately north of Barger Drive adjacent to the Eugene city <br /> limits. Change the designation from Agriculture to Low Density <br /> Residential. Refer to MPC Report, Volume 1, page I I 1-87, Index Number <br /> 8-20. <br /> Unresolved Issues - <br /> 1. A 78 acre site located north of Belt Line Road, South of Irving Road <br /> and east of the Northwest Expressway. The requested amendment was <br /> to change the Plan designation from Light-Medium Industrial to <br /> SpeCial-Light Industrial. Two positions were prepared by MPC for <br /> consideration: one was in support of the requested amendment and the <br /> other was to leave the designation as Light-Medium or change it to <br /> residential use. Key points on both positions are listed in MPC <br /> Report, Volume 2, page V-I. <br /> 2. An amendment req uested to create an industrial tract between <br /> Awbrey Lane and Meadow View. The request was to bring <br /> approximately 727 acres under one ownership into the Urban Growth <br /> Boundary and to designate the area as a "large-scale industrial <br /> park". MPC prepared two positions on this request; one is to include <br /> the area in a study of alternative growth areas to be conducted <br /> following the Mid-Period Review, the other is to include the area in <br /> the Urban Growth Boundary at this time. During the joint planning <br /> commission public hearing the applicant requested to withdraw their <br /> application from consideration during the Mid-Period Review. <br /> However, they would 1 i ke to maintain their application for <br /> consideration fo 11 owi ng the completion of the alternative grow~h <br /> study.
