Teitzel, City Engineer <br /> SUBJECT: Contract award and assessment for public improvement project <br /> The property owners for the following project were notified of a hearing <br /> before the Hearings Official to consider objections to the contract award and <br /> the proposed assessment. There were no unresolved problems or requests to be <br /> heard, and the meeting was cancelled. <br /> Contract No. 85-30 - Contract award and levying assessment of costs for <br /> sanitary sewer on Ferry Street from 18th Avenue to 150 feet north of 18th e <br /> Avenue <br /> This project was initiated in February, 1985 by a petition representing 100 <br /> percent of property owners. The City Council approved the project by <br /> Resolution No. 3940 on August 12, 1985, directing the Public Works Department <br /> to prepare plans and specifications and authorizing the costs of the <br /> improvement to be assess to properties within the improvement district in <br /> accordance with applicable sections of the Eugene Code, 1971- <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL: <br /> The first action should be to adopt the findings attached. The second action <br /> should be tq approve the ordinance. <br /> e <br />
