<br /> " <br /> M E MaR AND U M <br /> . <br /> To: Mayor and City Councilors Date: ~12,l985 <br /> Subject: Readoption of State Traffic Laws <br /> Provisions of Oregon Laws, 1983 and Oregon Laws, 1985 substan- <br /> tially revised and renumbered the state traffic laws and will become <br /> effective on January 1, 1986. We have therefore prepared an <br /> Ordinance amending Section 5.005 of the Eugene Code, 1971 which <br /> adopts the state traffic laws, and provided an effective date of <br /> January 1, 1986. <br /> This Ordinance adopts all the ORS Chapters that will constitute <br /> the State Vehicle Code after January 1, 1986.. Once these laws <br /> have been codified and we ha ve specific ORS provisions to refer . <br /> to, we may be returning with an Ordinance that adopts less than <br /> the entire State Vehicle Code.
