At the current level of <br />traffic, this intersection is a safety hazard for students <br />who walk to school as well as other pedestrian traffic. At <br />the current level of traffic, this intersection has one of <br />the highest accident rates in the area. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Because there is a large amount of additional housing <br />underway (Woodland Mobile Home Park-400 units; Joey Village <br />Mobile Home Park-ISO units; over 150 new homes north of <br />Barger on Terry)that feeds directly onto Barger Drive, the <br />traffic at the Barger/Beltline intersection will clearly get <br />worse over the next several years. <br /> <br />It is absolutely mandatory that the City and State <br />address this area as one of its highest priorities for the <br />future.
