<br />Don Allen, public works director, reviewed the bids. Award of contract was
<br />recommended to Wildish, Construction on their low bid price of $183,243.50.
<br />Mr. Allen also noted about 150 notices sent to individual property owners with
<br />regard to public hearing at this time.
<br />
<br />Public hearing was held with no testimony presented.
<br />
<br />Mr. Murray moved seconded by Mr. Keller to award contract to,
<br />Wildish Construction Company as recommended. Rollcall vote.
<br />All council members present voting aye, motion carried.
<br />

<br />1. Sign Code Board of Appeals recommended by Mayor Anderson:

<br />Mr. Murray moved seconded by Mr. Keller to confirm the reappoint-
<br />ments as recommended. Motion carried unanimously.

<br />2. Budget. Committep - Councilman Bradley announced withdrawal of his recommenda-
<br />tion of Sally Smith, Ward 1, rather than pursuing amendment of bylaws or
<br />waiver of requirement that would permit her to serve. Mrs. Smith now lives
<br />in Ward 2.
<br />
<br />Councilman Haws recommended appointment of Ray Bradshaw, 3577 Hawthorne
<br />Street, from Ward 6'for th~ term ending December 31, 1977.
<br />
<br />Councilman Keller recommended appointment' of Dr. Boyd Engelcke, 2164 University
<br />Street, from Ward 2 for the balance of the term ending December 31, 1976, re-
<br />p1acin~ Myron Bagley, resigned.
