It was so ordered and the correction was made. <br /> <br />Mr. Williams moved seconded by Mrs. Beal to place the report as cor- <br />rected on tte February 24 consent calendar for approval. Zoning Newly-annexed area in vicinity of Dillard Road, 43rd Avenue, and South Shasta <br />Loop - From County RA Suburban to City RA Suburban Residential (Planning Commission) <br />,Recommended by the Planning Commission on February 4, 1975. <br /> <br />Mr. Murray moved seconded by Mr. Keller to set public hearing on the <br />zoning for the March 10 Council meeting. Right-of-way Acquisition, Barger Drive - Council authorization was requested to com- <br />mence pegotiation on additional right-of-way on Barger Drive. Manager explained <br />that 27 pprcels in addition to that already acquired were needed to accommodate <br />the facility as designed - two lanes with center turn lane, bike lanes and side- <br />walks on each side, no parking on either side. Assessment for the project would <br />be made against abutting properties for 28 feet of the paved width (40~foot <br />right-of-way), city's portion of the cost to be funded from bond monies plus county <br />road fund monies for urban arter,ials. <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />Councilman Keller said he understood when viewing the street on tour that there was <br />to be sidewalk on one side only. Don Allen, public works director, explained th2t <br />sidewalk was planned for the south side only on that portion east of Belt Line Road <br />because the north side there was undeveloped at this time. However, sidewalk was <br />planned on both sides west of the Belt Line. <br /> <br />Mr. Murray moved seconded by Mr. Keller to authorize negotiations to <br />commence for acquisition of the right-of-way on Barger Drive as re- <br />quested. Room Tax Allocation Report - February 13, 1975 was distributed to Council members <br />with agenda together with copies of December 19, 1974 and February 10, 1975 minutes <br />of Room Tax Allocation Committee meetings. <br /> <br />Manager explained that guidelines established by the Council for allocation of room <br />tax funds had been translated into format determining findings based on established, <br />criteria. Applications submitted in December did not follow that format and were <br />reconsidered at January and February meetings, some of ~hich still have not been <br />finalized.
