Council Tours--Mr. Haws requested that newly elected Council members <br /> be invited along on any upcoming Council tours. File <br /> B. Traffic Flow at 13th and Alder <br /> Mr. Haws expressed satisfaction with the change in traffic pattern <br /> at Alder and 13th. He did suggest, however, that a sign be placed File <br /> at that corner reminding motorists that traffic is no longer <br /> one-way. <br /> It was understood that the traffic engineer would respond to <br /> Mr. Haws request. <br /> C. Election Comments--Mrs. Beal congratulated the newly elected Mayor <br /> and Council members. She also expressed appreciation for the <br /> efforts of those who will no longer be serving on the Council. <br /> Mr. Keller felt that all candidates should feel proud of having <br /> participated in an election in which there was so much citizen <br /> interest shown. Mrs. Beal suggested that the City pay for lunches <br /> of newly elected Council members who come to the Committee meetings. File <br />e It was understood staff would make the proper arrangements <br /> D. Committee-of-the-Whole Lunch Menu--Mr. Bradley suggested that staff <br /> contact the King's Table to request a more varied luncheon menu. File <br /> E. Lane Transit District/Council Meeting--Manager noted that the Lane <br /> Transit District has requested a Thursday, December 2, meeting <br /> with the City Council to discuss the programs of the transit Affirm <br /> district and receive feedback from the City on their progress. <br /> F. N.L.C. Voting Delegates-Congress of Cities--Manager noted that <br /> normally there is one voting delegate and one alternate for the <br /> National League of Cities Conference in November. He noted too <br /> that the Mayor will not be going, but that Council members Keller, <br /> Bradley and Haws will attend. <br /> Mr. Bradley moved seconded by Mr. Williams that <br /> Mr. Keller be designated as voting delegate, with <br /> Mr. Haws as alternate.
