Contract award was recommended to the low bidder on each of the projects, with the exception of Project No. 6 on which staff recommends rejection. Dennis Day, 2197 Four Oaks Grange Road, agreed with staff's recommendation on Project e No.6, feeling the residents can complete the project themselves. . A representative of the neighboTs :an P'l'~ject'No.2 expressed concern over the envir:on- mental impact of the projectl~ as it relates to the trees adjacent to the area. Public works director responded that would be taken into consideration. Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mrs. Beal, to award contracts to the low bidder on Projects 1 through 5 and to reject Project No.6.
