<br />Vote was taken on the motion for appointment to October 1, . <br />with Obie, Williams, Hamel, and Smith voting no; Haws, Bradley, . <br />Delay, and Lieuall~n voting yes. Mayor Keller broke the tie <br />by voting no. MotIon was defeated. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the amendment to the motion concerning <br />setting up a eouncil subcommittee to review the process. Mayor <br />Keller again indicated that the process was outlined in the by- <br />laws of the eouncil, and that the City Council could change those <br />by-laws. Mr. Obie spoke against the motion, saying he felt more <br />time was needed, to which Mr. Williams agreed. He said he felt <br />more discussion needed to be held by the Council on this matter, <br />and that he would favor having someone other than the Council <br />appoint a committee to review the selection process. Ms. Smith <br />agreed that eouncil should not appoint members to this eommittee <br />to review the selection process. <br /> <br />Vote was taken on the amendment to the motion which carried <br />with Obie, Williams, Hamel, and Smith voting no; Haws, Bradley, <br />Delay, and Lieuallen voting yes; Mayor Keller voted yes to <br />break the ti e. <br /> <br />It was moved by Mr. Haws, seconded by Mr. Hamel, that Items <br />A-I0, B-6, and C-8 be approved, affirmed, and filed as noted. <br />Bradley, Haws, and Delay indicated a negative response on <br />Item C-I-I relating to the process and procedure and not people. <br />Ro 11 call vote.
