<br />. <br /> <br />Public hearing was opened. <br /> <br />Leigh Iverson, 2869 Taylor Street, said he represented Breeden Bros. <br />and was available to answer questions. <br /> <br />Public hearing was closed, there being no further testimony <br />presented. <br /> <br />C. B. 1470--Rezoning from AG to R-1 area located northwest of Best <br />Lane, south of Beltline was read by council bill number <br />and title only, there being no Council member present <br />requesting that it be read in full. <br /> <br />I-A-6 <br /> <br />Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mr. Hamel, that findings supporting <br />the rezoning as set out in Planning Commission Staff Notes and <br />minutes of April 5, 1977, be adopted by reference thereto; that <br />the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with <br />unanimous consent of the Council; and that enactment be considered <br />at this time. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mr. Hamel, that the bill be approved and <br />given final passage. Roll call vote. All Council members present <br />voting aye, except Mr. Delay voting no, the bill was declared <br />passed and numbered 17983. <br /> <br />3. Located west of the intersection of 4th Avenue and Pearl, from M-2 to RP <br />(Barnes) (Z 77-12) <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Manager stated the unanimous recommendation had come from the Planning <br />Commission's April 5, 1977 meeting. Jim Saul, Planning Department, <br />said the small parcel of property was under 9,000 square feet and had <br />its present zoning since 1948. He reviewed zoning and location of <br />buildings in the surrounding area. The Planning Commission confirmed <br />that the proposed zone change was in conformance with the objectives <br />of the General Plan and zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />No ex parte contacts or conflict of interest were declared by <br />Council members. Planning Commission Staff Notes and minutes <br />of April 5, 1977, were received as part of the record by reference <br />thereto. <br /> <br />Public hearing was opened. <br /> <br />Dennis Strand, 1981 Kimberly, represented the developer and was <br />available to answer questions. <br /> <br />Public hearing was closed, there being no further testimony <br />presented. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />C.
