C. Refer two measures to Eugene voters on the May 2018 ballot, the first a $3.19 million <br />operations and maintenance levy to maintain parks trails, natural areas, rivers and recreation <br />facilities, including increased security patrols; and the second a $41.8 million capital funding <br />bond measure package to improve parks, trails, natural areas, community centers and pools. <br />D. Develop a revised funding strategy based on City Council direction. <br />E. Take no action at this time. <br />CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATION <br />The City Manager recommends Option B: Refer two measures to Eugene voters on the May 2018 <br />ballot, the first a $3.12 million operations and maintenance levy to maintain parks trails, natural <br />areas, rivers and recreation facilities, including increased security patrols; and the second a $31.1 <br />million capital funding bond measure package to improve parks, trails, natural areas, community <br />centers and pools. <br />SUGGESTED MOTION <br />Move to direct the City Manager to prepare a resolution for Council action to refer two measures <br />to Eugene voters on the May 2018 ballot, the first a $3.12 million operations and maintenance levy <br />to maintain parks trails, natural areas, rivers and recreation facilities, including increased security <br />patrols; and the second a $31.1 million capital funding bond measure package to improve parks, <br />trails, natural areas, community centers and pools. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />A.
