Mr. Saul reviewed the history of <br /> the annexation and zoning of this property. He also reviewed <br /> past Commission actions concerning it. In 1976, during public <br /> hearings before the Planning Commission and Council, major <br /> reservations were expressed concerning the appropriateness of <br /> the existing RA zoning and an indication that C-2 zoning was <br /> inappropriate. At this time, the Planning Commission has con- <br /> cluded because of the location in regard to the Delta Interchange <br /> that RP zoning would be most consistent and would provide a <br /> transition between the interchange and residential area. <br /> e In calling for ex parte contacts of conflicts of interest, <br /> Councilor Smith noted she would abstain from discussion and <br /> voting. There were no conflicts of interest expressed by <br /> other Council members.
