It was staff's recommendaticn <br /> to prepare additienal applications for submissien to be on file in case . <br /> some funds become available. He ncted for Council there was no response <br /> to the questicn in reference to the Amazon West bikepath. He noted it <br /> would be bid this spring under the current budget prccess. <br /> Mr. Haws questioned the establishment .of a bike path at the end of <br /> Rocsevelt, acrcss the railrcad tracks, and across the river. Mr. Allen <br /> replied that item was listed as No.2 .on the distributed memc. Staff <br /> did not feel it to be a viable prcject until the ESATS matter is <br /> settled. It might be incorpcrated in that study and could be funded <br /> through that project. He said that process would be ccmpleted by the <br /> end .of July 1978. <br /> Mayor Keller expressed appreciaticn te Mr" Allen for the infcrmaticn <br /> supplied. Mr. Allen ncted also fcr Council that staff had been very <br /> successful in getting mcney for prejects and were continually en the <br /> alert trying to find additional funds .other than the general fund fcr <br /> these facilities. <br />VI. Calling public hearing Octcber 24 fer Assessments at 10th and Oak Overpark <br /> C.B. 1550--Calling public hearing Octcber 24 to levy assessments on <br /> preperty at nerthwest ccrner .of 11th and Oak fer cest .of <br /> 10th and Oak Overpark was read by council bill number and <br /> title only, there being no Ccuncil member present requesting <br /> it be read in full. - <br /> Mr. Haws moved, seccnded by Mr. Hamel, that the bill be read the <br /> seccnd time by council bill number .only, with unanimous consent <br /> of the Council, and that enactment be censidered at this time. <br /> Moticn carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time <br /> by ceuncil bill number only. <br /> Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mr. Hamel, that the bill be apprcved <br /> and given final passage. Rcll call vote. All Council members <br /> present vcting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered <br /> 18057. <br />VI!. Improvement Petiticns <br /> Res. No. 2768--Authorizing initiating prccess for paving, sanitary <br /> sewer, and sterm sewer within 1st Additicn tc Concerd <br /> and sanitary sewer tc serve the area between the scuth <br /> boundary of 1st Additicn tc Ccncord and Beltline Road <br /> was read by number and title. <br /> Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mr. Hamel, to adcpt the reseluticn. <br /> Rc 11 ca 11 vete.
