RESOLUTIONS <br /> Resolution No. 2797--Authorizing payment of bills, claims, and progress <br /> payments for period November 28 through December 12,1977, was read by <br /> number and title only. <br /> Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mr. Hamel, to adopt the resolution. <br /> Ro 11 ca 11 vote. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Resolution No. 2798--Concerning construction of dog control facility in <br /> cooperation with Springfield and Lane County; authorizing intergovern- <br /> mental agreement re: spay/neuter program. <br /> Ms. Smith expressed her concern that staff and the Budget Committee monitor <br /> very closely the appropriations for the spay/neuter clinic and keep Council <br /> apprised of the cost of the program. In response to a question from Mr. <br /> Hamel, Assistant Manager said $14,800 had been appropriated in this year's <br /> budget for the spay/neuter clinic. In the future, appropriations would <br /> have to be approved by the Budget Committee. Mr. Hamel wondered if <br /> Springfield's lack of contribution would increase the City's amount. <br /> Assistant Manager said the agreement is that Lane County will bear the <br /> basic responsibility with the City contributing as the Budget Committee <br /> allows. This resolution ;s authorizing entering into an agreement. <br /> Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mr. Hamel, to adopt the resolution. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> e V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mr. Hamel, to approve Council minutes <br /> November 28, 1977. Roll call vote.
